“Beez in the trap…be-beez in the trap”…. Sometimes the swarms come to you. I keep the “bait trap” set up throughout the season and it never fails to attract a passing swarm, looking for a new home site.

Again, the rule of thumb is, if they are located away from traffic and not bothering anyone, just let them be. They will not survive the first hard frost of the season and then, if the nest still bothers you, it can be removed.
While these are not honey bees, the current nest location could be troublesome. See my other post regarding the decision-making process as to whether you want to remove them. It is a personal choice decision.
