Had temporarily placed swarm trap under the deck until I could re-place it in nearby tree, when new swarm “checked-in”….will see if it is permanent or they are “just looking”…
This trap has attracted two swarms in a little over 24 hours. Must “bee” a popular place!

Visitors to my “swarm trap” earlier today. Temporarily placed under the deck until I could re-place it on nearby tree. Another swarm possibly moving in.
Swarm season is well underway here in the Lehigh Valley.

Turns out they were just snooping. Opened the trap this morning to find roughly two dozen bees just checking out the box. Returned the box to the tree at the edge of the woods. We’ll see what develops from here.
