Sometimes, bee swarms or existing colonies are in a location that is very difficult to access. It’s then that a bee vacuum comes in handy. Using a shotgun to retrieve a swarm. Not recommended, but effective.
“Beez in the trap…be-beez in the trap”…. Sometimes the swarms come to you. I keep the “bait trap” set up throughout the season and it never fails to attract a passing swarm, looking for a new home site.
