Our Services

Welcome to 2026! Our local outreach program is gearing up for another exciting year.

We would like to present or be a presence at your upcoming event, activity, or program.

We create, in collaboration with our clients, and present specific programs on environmental, ecology, and naturalist topics. We are supporters and members of several prominent local, state, national and international organizations (listed below) and can access their scientific research and expertise to create our programs.

The topics range from caterpillars to climate change to “greener” energy. Please visit our website (www.dedkosbees.com) to view the Presentation Calendar and Education Outreach Presentation Topics pages. We can create a specific program to meet your needs.

Our presentations are primarily of two types: Education and “Tabling.” *(We can also create a “hybrid,” having parts of both types)

Education:

·      Structured- topic is dedicated and tailored to a specific audience

·      Dynamic- direct audience engagement

·      Interactive- ongoing discussion throughout

”Tabling”(literally, setting up a “table station” to share materials):

·      Informal- usually as a participant in a larger, public event

·      Static- sharing of printed information about the specific topics

·      Intermittent engagement-dependent on flow of participant traffic; random questions and answers

We are available year-round, but the schedule is filling quickly, especially around the following notable commemorative days:

·      International DarkSky Week-April 13-20

·      Earth Day-April 22

·      World Bee Day-May 20

·      Pollinator Week-June 15-21

·      World Honey Bee Day-August 15

Please call, text, or e-mail for more information and to schedule your program!
